2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Charles "Chuck" Bonner of Sherman, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on May 3, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was born in Springfield to Charles | ||||||
6 | and Irene H. Nemecek Bonner on January 25, 1952; he graduated | ||||||
7 | from Southeast High School and served in the U.S. Army in | ||||||
8 | Germany from 1972 to 1974; he married Judy Cervellone on | ||||||
9 | November 2, 2002; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner worked as an electrician for | ||||||
11 | Pillsbury Mills and Cargill for 30 years; he retired from the | ||||||
12 | U.S. Postal Service in 2017; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner enjoyed motorcycle road trips; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
15 | and his brothers, Thomas Emil Bonner and Timothy E. Bonner; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Chuck Bonner is survived by his wife, Judy; his | ||||||
17 | sister-in-law, Judy A. Bonner; his nephew, Thomas E. (Deonna) | ||||||
18 | Bonner; his great-nieces, Lauren and Sara Bonner; several | ||||||
19 | cousins; and his close friend, Tom Cartmel; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Charles "Chuck" Bonner and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
4 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
