2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Louis Joseph Firmand of Bloomington, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on March 11, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Louis Firmand was born in Peoria to Frank and | ||||||
6 | Eileen Maroni Firmand on December 5, 1929; he graduated from | ||||||
7 | Woodruff High School; he married Deanna Sue Barnwell in Peoria | ||||||
8 | in November 1957; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Louis Firmand served in the U.S. Army during the | ||||||
10 | Korean War, where he earned the rank of corporal; after the | ||||||
11 | war, he worked at Illinois Graphics as a folder operator for | ||||||
12 | over 30 years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Louis Firmand was preceded in death by his | ||||||
14 | parents; his sisters, Adeline Firmand and Laura Johnson; and | ||||||
15 | his sister in-law, Jan Firmand; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Louis Firmand is survived by his sons, Todd | ||||||
17 | Firmand and Keith Firmand; his grandchildren; his five | ||||||
18 | great-grandchildren; and his four brothers, Alfred (Angie) | ||||||
19 | Firmand, Michael Firmand, Lido (Carol) Firmand, and Martin | ||||||
20 | (Janice) Firmand; therefore, be it
