2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of James R. Dunn Jr. of Bloomington, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on March 7, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was born in Bloomington to James R. | ||||||
6 | and Martha (Englejohn) Dunn Sr. on December 20, 1929; he served | ||||||
7 | in the U.S. Air Force; he married Letty Phillippe in | ||||||
8 | Bloomington on April 17, 1976; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. worked in commercial sales with The | ||||||
10 | Pantagraph for 30 years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was a member of Trinity Lutheran | ||||||
12 | Church in Bloomington and a member of the American Legion Carl | ||||||
13 | Martin Post #635 in Normal; he ran the Anglers Club; he enjoyed | ||||||
14 | traveling, playing golf at the Highland Park Golf Course in | ||||||
15 | Bloomington, and skating at the Four Seasons; and

16 | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
17 | parents; his wife, Letty; and his sister, Mary Ellen Winstead; | ||||||
18 | and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, James Dunn Jr. is survived by his stepchildren, | ||||||
20 | Maribelle (John) Waters, Neva Jane Wert, and Edwin Jeffrey |

2 | Driscoll, Brian (Sammy Jo) Wert, Maggie (Brad) Clark, and | ||||||

4 | Blaike, Jackson, Maddox, Adelaide, Cole, and Kira; his | ||||||

7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
9 | James R. Dunn Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
