2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of John F. "Jack" Zlogar Sr. of Joliet, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 23, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar was born in Joliet to John and Frances | ||||||
6 | Zlogar and served in the United States Navy during World War | ||||||
7 | II; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar retired after many years of dedicated | ||||||
9 | service from the Brotherhood of Local #1 Ironworkers; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar enjoyed spending time with his family | ||||||
11 | for holidays, birthdays, and vacations at their condo on Siesta | ||||||
12 | Key Beach; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
14 | and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Jack Zlogar is survived by his wife of 61 years, | ||||||
16 | Nancy (Smith) Zlogar; his sons, John F. (Denise) Zlogar Jr., | ||||||
17 | Doug (Charlene) Zlogar, and Brad (Danette Sartori) Zlogar; his | ||||||
18 | daughter, Sally (Bob) Bertani; his brother, Jim (Katie) Zlogar; | ||||||
19 | his sister, Sr. Joan Zlogar O.P.; his grandchildren, Mike, | ||||||
20 | Jack, Christian, and Dillon Zlogar; and numerous nieces, |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | John F. "Jack" Zlogar Sr., and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
5 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
6 | it further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
