2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Richard E. Rath of Lake Jackson, Texas, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on January 20, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Richard Rath was born in Vergennes to Joe and Alta | ||||||
6 | (Spencer) Rath on March 13, 1932; he was a retired Air Force | ||||||
7 | veteran; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Richard Rath is survived by his daughter, Kimberly | ||||||
9 | (Scott) Foster; his son, Curtis (Tracy) Rath; his | ||||||
10 | grandchildren, Trenton (Ashley), Taryn Rath, and Chelsea | ||||||
11 | (James) McClure; his sister, Verna Bastien; his brother, Howard | ||||||
12 | Rath; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Williams, Carol Smith, | ||||||
13 | and Barbra Donegan; therefore, be it

14 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
15 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
16 | Richard E. Rath and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
17 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
18 | further

19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
20 | presented to the family of Richard Rath as an expression of our | ||||||
