2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Angelo A. Marchio of Joliet, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on October 6, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio was born in Carbondale, | ||||||
6 | Pennsylvania to Paul Marchio and Philomena (Marchio) Ventura in | ||||||
7 | 1928; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio worked as a carpenter with | ||||||
9 | Carpenters Local Union #174; he was the former owner and | ||||||
10 | operator of Marchio's Tavern; he was a United States Army | ||||||
11 | Veteran of the Korean War; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio was preceded in death by his loving | ||||||
13 | wife, Kathryn (Hibler) Marchio; and his parents; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio is survived by his sons, Anthony, | ||||||
15 | Michael, and Stephen (Gayle) Marchio; his grandchildren, | ||||||
16 | Nicholas and Vincent Marchio; his brother, Bruno (the late | ||||||
17 | Carol); his sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Ron) Erjavec; his nieces | ||||||
18 | and nephews, Paul, David, Lori, Gina, Dean, and Sue; and his | ||||||
19 | devoted companion, Barbara Confer; therefore, be it
