| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Delores Ross of Virden, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on September 19, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Delores Ross was born August 26, 1932; she | ||||||
| 6 | graduated from Virden High School in 1951 and married Theodore | ||||||
| 7 | C. "Bud" Ross in Virden on November 8, 1952; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Delores Ross worked for the State of Illinois and | ||||||
| 9 | at the Macoupin County Courthouse; she owned and operated the | ||||||
| 10 | Virden Coin Wash; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Delores Ross was an avid fan of the Virden | ||||||
| 12 | Bulldogs; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Delores Ross was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
| 14 | Theodore, and her sister, Linda Guthrie; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Delores Ross is survived by her daughter, Carroll | ||||||
| 16 | L. (Jeff) Millburg; her son, Ray J. (Stacy) Ross; three | ||||||
| 17 | grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Arlene | ||||||
| 18 | Love-Ballinger and Lola Lemarr; and several nieces and nephews; | ||||||
| 19 | therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Delores Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | ||||||
| 4 | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Delores Ross as an expression of our | ||||||
| 7 | deepest sympathy.
