2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dorothy M. Pullman of Crest Hill, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 5, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman was born to Peter and Anna Bolatto | ||||||
6 | in a farmhouse near Essex; she graduated from the St. Joseph | ||||||
7 | School of Nursing in Joliet in 1949 and married Frank Pullman | ||||||
8 | at St. John's Catholic Church in Joliet in 1951; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman served as a private duty nurse for | ||||||
10 | many years; she then worked as a manager at the Imperial | ||||||
11 | Nursing Home so she could care for her mother who resided there | ||||||
12 | in her final years, retiring in 1989; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman was preceded in death by her | ||||||
14 | parents and her husband of 60 years, Frank Pullman; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Pullman is survived by her children, Jean | ||||||
16 | (Robert) Geddis, William (Donna) Pullman, Robert (Jan) | ||||||
17 | Pullman, and James Pullman; her grandchildren, Jordan Geddis | ||||||
18 | and Allison (Terry Companik), Ashley (Joseph Mammosser), and | ||||||
19 | Charles (Lisa) Pullman; her great-grandsons, Bennett Pullman, | ||||||
20 | Lincoln Companik, and Maddox Mammosser; her sister, Anna Mae | ||||||
21 | (Duane) Boyd; her brother, Robert (Vickie) Bolatto; and |

1 | numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Dorothy M. Pullman and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Dorothy Pullman as an expression of | ||||||
9 | our deepest sympathy.
