2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Holly Friday of McHenry, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on July 3, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Holly Friday was born in Deerfield to Marjorie and | ||||||
6 | Frank Stieber on August 11, 1960; she attended Holy Cross Grade | ||||||
7 | School and Deerfield High School; she graduated from the | ||||||
8 | University of Arizona; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Holly Friday taught first at St. Mary's School in | ||||||
10 | Buffalo Grove and then at Harvard Junior High School; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Holly Friday loved her family, friends, | ||||||
12 | co-workers, and her dogs, Madra and Valley; she was a member of | ||||||
13 | the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois and enjoyed quilting and | ||||||
14 | knitting; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Holly Friday was preceded in death by her parents | ||||||
16 | and her sister, Lyn (Barry) Stockton; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Holly Friday is survived by her husband, Daniel | ||||||
18 | Friday; her children, Maggie and Kevin; her sisters, Diane | ||||||
19 | (Keith) Berkholtz, Debbie (Michael) Petroff, and Karen (Kyle) | ||||||
20 | Goodwin; her brother, Mark (Rhonda) Stieber; and 10 nieces and |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Holly Friday, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | ||||||
5 | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
| ||||||
6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Holly Friday as an expression of our | ||||||
8 | deepest sympathy.
