SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Carmella (DeSalvo) Feminis of South
4Chicago Heights; and
5 WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis attended Bloom High School; and
6 WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis retired from Star Publications,
7Villa Italia, and Park Forest School District 163; and
8 WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis was preceded in death by her
9siblings, Joseph (Jean) DeSalvo, William (Lorene Bove)
10DeSalvo, Anthony (Diane) DeSalvo, and Donald DeSalvo; and
11 WHEREAS, Carmella Feminis was the wife of the late Jack
12Feminis for 36 years; the mother of Joseph (Sheryl), Virginia,
13John, Michael (Meredith), and the late Jack Feminis Jr.; the
14grandmother of Matthew (Laura), Anthony (Jennifer), and
15Christopher (Alyson) Feminis, Zachary (Despina) Roszak,
16Gianna, Francesca, and Sophia Feminis, and Scott (Kayla)
17Shiple; the great-grandmother of Addison, Maria, Vincent,
18Aubrie, and Katherine; the daughter of Virginia (Petrarca) and
19Vito DeSalvo; the sister of Constance "Connie" (Louis) Melone
20and John (Celia) DeSalvo; and beloved aunt and dear friend of
21many; therefore, be it

1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Carmella (DeSalvo) Feminis and extend our sincere condolences
4to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
5it further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Carmella Feminis as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
