| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Gary L. Lee of Moline, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | June 4, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Gary Lee was born in Galesburg to Louis D. and | ||||||
| 6 | Mildred E. Gillespie Lee on July 12, 1939; he graduated from | ||||||
| 7 | St. Ambrose University; he served in the United States Army | ||||||
| 8 | from July of 1963 to October of 1968; he married Dee Abrahamson | ||||||
| 9 | in the Quad Cities in 1965; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Gary Lee was the owner and operator of Gary Lee | ||||||
| 11 | and Associates, a tax accounting firm in East Moline; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Gary Lee was a loving husband, father, brother, | ||||||
| 13 | and fun-loving friend; he was a competitive athlete, enjoyed | ||||||
| 14 | sports, and loved animals; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Gary Lee was preceded in death by his parents and | ||||||
| 16 | his former wife, Dee; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Gary Lee is survived by his significant other, | ||||||
| 18 | Sharon Russell; his children, Tracy (Doug Foutz) Lee and David | ||||||
| 19 | Lee; and his siblings, Shirley Anderson, Barbara Perry, Randy | ||||||
| 20 | Lee, and Rodney (Kim) Lee; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | Gary L. Lee, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
| 4 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Gary Lee as an expression of our | ||||||
| 7 | deepest sympathy.
