| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Gary Richard Weber of Peoria, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 25, 2021, after spending the day | ||||||
5 | doing one of the things he most loved, watching his SIU Salukis | ||||||
6 | win on a beautiful fall day; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Gary Weber had a master's degree in Spanish from | ||||||
8 | the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Divinity from | ||||||
9 | Eden Seminary; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Gary Weber was a retired minister and high school | ||||||
11 | teacher; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Gary Weber was most proud of his more than thirty | ||||||
13 | years officiating local football games, his students and | ||||||
14 | parishioners, his many beloved dogs, and, most especially, his | ||||||
15 | family; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Gary Weber is survived by wife, Liz; his | ||||||
17 | children, Katherine and Scott Weber; and his four | ||||||
18 | grandchildren, Isabella, Zaryn Alice, Mason, and Haley; | ||||||
19 | therefore, be it

20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |

1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
2 | Gary Richard Weber and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
3 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
6 | presented to the family of Gary Weber as an expression of our | ||||||
7 | deepest sympathy.
