| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Ann H. Sliva of Waukegan, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on December 11, 2011; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, She was born July 17, 1917 in Milwaukee, | ||||||
| 6 | Wisconsin; she married Laddie Sliva on August 3, 1940; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, She was a member of Queen of Peace Church in North | ||||||
| 8 | Chicago and more recently a member of St. Dismas Church in | ||||||
| 9 | Waukegan; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, She was an avid seamstress and loved to cook; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Laddie; | ||||||
| 12 | her daughter, Michaelene Sliva; and her sisters, Irene | ||||||
| 13 | Miecyzski and Eleanor Gont; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Ann Sliva is survived by her son, Thomas | ||||||
| 15 | (Patricia) Sliva; her, daughter Sandra (Henry) Jasinski; and | ||||||
| 16 | her 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; therefore, be | ||||||
| 17 | it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||

| 1 | her family and friends, the passing of Ann Sliva; and be it | ||||||
| 2 | further

| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
