SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, During the 102nd General Assembly, the Senate
3Task Force on Child Sexual and Physical Abuse was established
4pursuant to Senate Resolution 58 for the purpose of
5investigating, assessing, and making recommendations on the
6Sexual Assault Survivors Emergency Treatment ACT and its
7implementation to ensure that child development and children's
8unique medical needs are addressed in the medical response to
9child sexual abuse within this Act; and
10 WHEREAS, Further work is needed on these issues;
11therefore, be it
12 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the Senate Task Force
14on Child Sexual and Physical Abuse is extended; and be it
15further
16 RESOLVED, That the Senate Task Force on Child Sexual and
17Physical Abuse shall submit a report, as established in its
18authorizing resolution, on or before January 1, 2022; and be
19it further
20 RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Senate
21Task Force on Child Sexual and Physical Abuse shall continue
