2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Larry W. Hartman of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on May 29, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman was born to Willam and Laura | ||||||
6 | (Lyphout) Hartman Jr. in Moline on August 14, 1946; he served | ||||||
7 | in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict; he first married | ||||||
8 | Linda Rosene; he later married Joyce Major at The First | ||||||
9 | Presbyterian Church in Moline on April 9, 1983; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman retired from the former Case/IH | ||||||
11 | Plant in East Moline; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman was a life member of the East End | ||||||
13 | Boulders Club where he had been active and held several | ||||||
14 | positions; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman was a Chicago White Sox Fan and | ||||||
16 | enjoyed playing rolle bolle; he was a loving grandfather who | ||||||
17 | adored his grandchildren; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | parents; and

1 | WHEREAS, Larry Hartman is survived by his wife, Joyce; his | ||||||
2 | children, Jamie W. (Jennifer) Hartman and Laura J. Hartman; | ||||||
3 | his grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Alayna, and Julian; and his | ||||||
4 | dog and best buddy, Toby; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Larry W. Hartman and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
9 | further
| ||||||
10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Larry Hartman as an expression of | ||||||
12 | our deepest sympathy.
