SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Judith Cremer of Pontiac, who passed away
4on March 10, 2017; and
5 WHEREAS, Judith Cremer was born in Bloomington to Frank and
6Elsie (Harms) Baumann on June 11, 1940; she graduated from
7Minonk-Dana-Rutland High School in 1958; and
8 WHEREAS, Judith Cremer was the Livingston County Circuit
9Clerk for nine terms; she was a longtime GOP chair; and
10 WHEREAS, Judith Cremer was a member of First Lutheran
11Church in Pontiac; she enjoyed her flower gardens and singing
12in the church choir; she loved cooking for her family and
13taking road trips to Wisconsin and Minnesota with all of her
14girlfriends; and
15 WHEREAS, Judith Cremer was preceded in death by her
16parents; her daughter, Jennifer Cremer; and Loren Cremer,
17father of Laura, Eric, and Jennifer; and
18 WHEREAS, Judith Cremer is survived by her children, Laura
19(Tom) Eagan, and Eric (Leslee) Cremer; her brother, Jim (Barb)
20Baumann; her sister, Jane (Bill) McNamara; her grandchildren,

1Britney Cremer, John (Amanda) Alltop, Ashley (Aaron) Mingo, and
2Joshua Alltop; and her great-grandchildren, Julian Alltopm and
3Gideon Mingo; therefore, be it
4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Judith Cremer, and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Judith Cremer as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
