SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Loretta E. "Babs" Enloe of Edwardsville,
4who passed away on February 20, 2017 at the age of 81; and
5 WHEREAS, Loretta Enloe was born in Mars, Pennsylvania to
6Arthur and Loretta (Craig) Nuernberg on June 21, 1935; she
7married Jack H. Enloe at St. John's United Methodist Church in
8Edwardsville on May 21, 1954; and
9 WHEREAS, Loretta Enloe operated her own retail shoe store
10in Edwardsville for many years and later had a successful
11consulting business; she was an active member of the First
12Christian Church in Edwardsville, and the Edwardsville PEO; and
13 WHEREAS, Loretta Enloe was preceded in death by her
14parents; her husband, Jack; two brothers, Arthur and William
15Nuernberg; and two sisters, Dolores Lauderbaugh and Charlotte
16Brown; and
17 WHEREAS, Loretta Enloe is survived by two sons, Jack H.
18Enloe and his wife Yonsook, and C. Lindsay Enloe and his wife,
19Michelle; three daughters, Elizabeth A. Enloe, Tracy T. Wetzel
20and her husband, Richard, and Loretta Ellen Scheibal and her
21husband, Jeff; 13 grandchildren, Jack Enloe, Sally (Tom) Ford,

5great-grandchildren; one sister, Ann Bailey; and one
6sister-in-law, Shirley (Al) Wiegand; therefore, be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Loretta "Babs" Enloe, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
12 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Loretta Enloe as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
