| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Andrew Lee Northcutt of Valatie, New | ||||||
| 4 | York, formerly of Alton, who passed away on February 18, 2017 | ||||||
| 5 | at the age of 80; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was born in Alton to Andrew and | ||||||
| 7 | Evelyn (Baldwin) Northcutt; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt received his master's degree | ||||||
| 9 | from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and was a | ||||||
| 10 | veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the 1950s; he | ||||||
| 11 | retired from Amica Mutual Insurance Company in 2001; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was an avid outdoor sportsman | ||||||
| 13 | with a passion for hunting and fishing, and was a lifetime | ||||||
| 14 | member of the Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club; he was a fan of the | ||||||
| 15 | Red Sox and the Patriots; he enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, | ||||||
| 16 | reading, and travelling, especially to Disney World; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 18 | parents; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Andrew Northcutt is survived by his loving wife of | ||||||
| 20 | 57 years, L. Jean (Ough) Northcutt; his sister, Darlene | ||||||

| 1 | Hargiss; his daughter, Lee Anne Ladd and her husband Mark; two | ||||||
| 2 | sons, Andrew Northcutt and his wife Debra, and Robert Northcutt | ||||||
| 3 | and his wife Kimberly; nine grandchildren, Heather, Daniel, and | ||||||
| 4 | Hannah Ladd, Cristina Hendrickson, Jessica Alton, and Alissa, | ||||||
| 5 | Joshua, Jacob, and Luke Northcutt; two great-grandsons, Andrew | ||||||
| 6 | and William Hendrickson; and many nieces and nephews; | ||||||
| 7 | therefore, be it

| 8 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 9 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 10 | Andrew Lee Northcutt, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 11 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 12 | further

| 13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 14 | presented to the family of Andrew Northcutt as an expression of | ||||||
