| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Peter Greg Visintin Sr. of Gillespie, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 25, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Peter Visintin Sr. was born in Litchfield on | ||||||
6 | January 28, 1950; he served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam; he | ||||||
7 | married Catherine Demuzio in Gillespie on May 4, 1974; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Peter Visintin Sr. formerly worked as an | ||||||
9 | automobile mechanic and the director of the bus garage for | ||||||
10 | Community Unit School District 7 until he retired; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Peter Visintin Sr. was a member of the VFW Post | ||||||
12 | 4547 of Gillespie; he was also a ham radio operator; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Peter Visintin Sr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
14 | mother, Anna (Gregus) Ruyle, and his father-in-law and | ||||||
15 | mother-in-law, Vincent and Catherine Demuzio; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Peter Visintin Sr. is survived by his father, | ||||||
17 | Kenneth Ruyle; his spouse, Catherine Visintin; his son, Peter | ||||||
18 | Greg (Elizabeth) Visintin Jr.; his granddaughter, Zephaniah | ||||||
19 | Visintin; his brother, Gary (Roseann) Visintin; and his | ||||||
20 | sisters-in-law, Marlene Demuzio and Donna (Jim) Burke; |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Peter Greg Visintin Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
5 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
8 | presented to the family of Peter Visintin Sr. as an expression | ||||||
9 | of our deepest sympathy.
