| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Gladys Darlene Ryan of Gibson City, | ||||||
| 4 | formerly of Foosland, who passed away on January 2, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan was born in Cheney Grove Township to | ||||||
| 6 | Richard and Erma Barrett Dean on June 15, 1930; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan worked for Illinois Bell as a | ||||||
| 8 | switchboard operator and at the Cozy Corner in Fisher as a | ||||||
| 9 | waitress; for many years, she also worked as a dietary aid at | ||||||
| 10 | the Heritage Manor in Gibson City; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Darlene Ryan was a member of the United Methodist | ||||||
| 12 | Church of Foosland Bellflower and was very active in their | ||||||
| 13 | women's club; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Gladys Ryan was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
| 15 | her four brothers; and her two sisters; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Gladys Ryan is survived by her children, Kevin | ||||||
| 17 | Ryan and Kenna (Mike) McCall; her grandchildren, Tom (Sarah) | ||||||
| 18 | McCall, Jenny (Scott) Davis, Chase (Kelsey) McCall, Seth | ||||||
| 19 | McCall, Brandon (Jordan) Ryan, Dustin Ryan, Travis Ryan, and | ||||||
| 20 | Courtney Ryan; her seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, | ||||||

| 1 | Shelby Sommer; therefore, be it

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Gladys Darlene Ryan and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
| 6 | further

| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
