1		SENATE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3		to learn of the death of Dannie S. Shryack of Moline, who
4		passed away on January 17, 2021; and
5		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack was born to Orville E. and Dorothy
6		F. (Sallee) Shryack in McDonough County on December 19, 1943;
7		he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army; he married his
8		high school sweetheart, Judy Sheraden, in Rock Island on
9		October 9, 1965; and
10		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack worked at Alcoa for 38 years; he
11		retired in 2001 as a general manager of the quality physical
12		testing department; and
13		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack was a member of the former
14		Memorial Heights United Methodist Church and the QC Winnebago
15		Camping Group; and
16		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack loved spending time with his
17		family, especially his grandchildren; he was an avid traveler
18		and visited all fifty states; he also enjoyed reading and
19		working on miscellaneous projects around the house; and
20		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack was preceded in death by his

1		parents; his brother, Richard "Dick" Shryack; and his sister,
2		Shirley Phillis; and
3		WHEREAS, Dannie Shryack is survived by his wife of 55
4		years, Judy; his children, Christopher Shryack and Kimberly
5		(Chris) Pastega; his grandchildren, Megan (Irvin) Stumberg,
6		Kyle Shryack, Jason Shryack, Paige Shryack, Trevor Pastega,
7		and Taylor Pastega; his sister-in-law, Judith Shryack; and his
8		brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Etta
9		Sheraden; therefore, be it
10		RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
11		ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12		Dannie S. Shryack and extend our sincere condolences to his
13		family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14		further
15		RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16		presented to the family of Dannie Skryack as an expression of
17		our deepest sympathy.
