Provides that the Department shall waive all application fees and examination fees for active military personnel and their spouses. Provides that nothing in the provisions waives the requirement that the person or spouse meet all other licensing requirements, including other fees required during the licensing process.

SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
20 ILCS 2105/2105-63 new

Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. 1 AN ACT concerning professional regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law of
5the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding
6Section 2105-63 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 2105/2105-63 new)
8 Sec. 2105-63. Fee waiver for active military.
9Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department
10shall waive all application fees and examination fees for
11active military personnel and their spouses. Nothing in this
12Section waives the requirement that the person or spouse meet
13all other licensing requirements, including other fees
14required during the licensing process.
