AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
Section 3-806.10 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/3-806.10 new)
Sec. 3-806.10. Vehicles manufactured in Illinois. The
registration fee under Section 3-806 for a first division
vehicle other than an autocycle, motorcycle, motor driven
cycle, or pedalcycle and for a second division vehicle
weighing 8,000 pounds or less shall be reduced by $25 if the
vehicle is manufactured in this State and the application for
registration is made no more than one year after the month in
which the vehicle was manufactured.
