Provides that the Board shall provide a way for an election authority to submit the form online, by mail, or by facsimile. Provides that the Board shall make the information collected available to the public on request.

1 AN ACT concerning elections.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Election Code is amended by adding Section
51-17 as follows:
6 (10 ILCS 5/1-17 new)
7 Sec. 1-17. Election authorities; annual submission to
8State Board of Elections. By January 31 of each year, each
9election authority shall submit a form with the following
10information to the State Board of Elections:
11 (1) the methods the jurisdiction uses for outreach to
12 populations who may have difficulty voting or accessing
13 polling places;
14 (2) the training materials for poll workers;
15 (3) the methods the jurisdiction engages in to recruit
16 poll workers, the jurisdiction's number of poll workers,
17 and the compensation levels for poll workers; and
18 (4) the communication plan for early voting procedures
19 and sites.
20 The State Board of Elections, in coordination with advocacy
21groups, shall develop the form an election authority shall use
22to submit the information required under this Section. The
