Amends the School Code. 1 AN ACT concerning education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section
522-32 as follows:
6 (105 ILCS 5/22-32 new)
7 Sec. 22-32. Student possession and use of sunscreen. A
8school district shall allow a student to possess and use a
9topical sunscreen product while on school property or at a
10school-related event or activity, regardless of the student
11possessing a note or prescription from a licensed health care
12professional.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14becoming law.
