1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Hearing Instrument Consumer Protection Act
5is amended by changing Section 25 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 50/25) (from Ch. 111, par. 7425)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2026)
8 Sec. 25. Any circuit court may, upon application of the the
9prosecutor or of the applicant or licensee against whom
10disciplinary proceedings are pending, enter an order requiring
11the attendance of witnesses and their testimony, and the
12production of documents, papers, files, books and records in
13connection with any hearing or investigation. The court may
14compel obedience to its order by proceedings for contempt.
