Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the definition of "conviction".

1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Criminal Code of 2012 is amended by changing
5Section 2-5 as follows:
6 (720 ILCS 5/2-5) (from Ch. 38, par. 2-5)
7 Sec. 2-5. "Conviction". "Conviction" means a judgment of
8conviction or sentence entered upon a plea of guilty or upon a
9verdict or finding of guilty of an offense, rendered by a
10legally constituted jury or by a court of competent
11jurisdiction authorized to try the the case without a jury.
