| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize Bob "Doc" Adams as he steps |
| 4 | | down from his position as Board Chairman of the Midwest Shelter |
| 5 | | for Homeless Veterans (MSHV); and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Bob Adams is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War; |
| 7 | | he co-founded the MSHV with Dirk
Enger, a combat veteran of |
| 8 | | Desert Storm; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, In collaboration with the local community, Bob |
| 10 | | Adams opened the MSHV "Nicholas Larsen Home" in Wheaton on
|
| 11 | | January 28, 2007; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, As the MSHV Clinical Director, Bob Adams, has
been |
| 13 | | able to provide a range of supportive services to
individual |
| 14 | | veterans; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, The MSHV offers affordable
housing to low-income |
| 16 | | veterans; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 | | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 | | congratulate Bob "Doc" Adams for his outstanding leadership and |
| 20 | | we express our appreciation for his efforts in support of |
