| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to recognize B & L Automotive Repairs in | ||||||
| 4 | Chicago on its success and commitment to its community; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, B & L is a family-owned business that delivers | ||||||
| 6 | comprehensive turnkey automotive repairs for insurance, fleet, | ||||||
| 7 | and commercial customers; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, B & L was founded in 1978 by Bernie Schatz and Lou | ||||||
| 9 | Stein; Peter Rizzo started with B & L in 1980 and became owner | ||||||
| 10 | in 1988; he, his wife Kim, and brother-in-law Gino Jacobazzi | ||||||
| 11 | have maintained the B & L standard of excellence that was | ||||||
| 12 | established by its founders; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, B & L has been an asset to the City of Chicago for | ||||||
| 14 | decades; it continues a commitment to the local community, most | ||||||
| 15 | recently by investing in the construction of a new building | ||||||
| 16 | across from their current location; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 18 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 19 | congratulate B & L Automotive Repairs on its success and | ||||||
| 20 | commitment to its community, and we wish them many more | ||||||
| 21 | successful years; and be it further
