| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate James Vargo on achieving | ||||||
| 4 | the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest and most coveted honor in | ||||||
| 5 | Scouting; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Through his dedication and hard work, James Vargo | ||||||
| 7 | has demonstrated that he lives by the
principles of the Scout | ||||||
| 8 | Oath and Law in his daily life, and that he has completed his | ||||||
| 9 | Eagle Service
Project, which is required to be of significant | ||||||
| 10 | value to the community; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, James Vargo was tasked with clearing a large | ||||||
| 12 | portion of brush at
the Heritage Farm on Schaumburg and Plum | ||||||
| 13 | Grove Road; he co-ordinated eight
people working for five hours | ||||||
| 14 | straight with only a short break for lunch; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, James Vargo sets a fine example for his peers and | ||||||
| 16 | friends through his leadership, hard work, and
commitment; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, James Vargo currently attends Schaumburg High | ||||||
| 18 | School; he plans on attending Harper College for two years and | ||||||
| 19 | then
transferring to the University of Illinois | ||||||
| 20 | Urbana-Champaign to become a nuclear engineer; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, James Vargo will be honored at an Eagle Court of | ||||||
| 2 | Honor on April 29, 2018 at St. Hubert's Parish; therefore, be | ||||||
| 3 | it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 5 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 6 | congratulate James Vargo on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout | ||||||
| 7 | and for his dedication and determination in
achieving this most | ||||||
| 8 | prestigious of Scouting awards; and be it further
| ||||||
| 9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
