| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Salvador Torres on | ||||||
| 4 | the 30th anniversary of his business, Caminos de Michoacan; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He was born in Villa Morelos, Michoacan on October | ||||||
| 6 | 22, 1946 to his parents, Ruben Torres and Carmen Escobedo; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, He was married to Bertha Jimenez in 1975 and | ||||||
| 8 | together they raised 4 children, Erika, Azucena, Salvador, Jr., | ||||||
| 9 | and Edgar; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, They are the proud grandparents of Romario, Daisy, | ||||||
| 11 | Lily, Jullian, Jessica, Salvador III, and Alexandria; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Salvador became the owner of Caminos de Michoacan | ||||||
| 13 | 30 years ago, after first working as an employee in the | ||||||
| 14 | establishment; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Caminos de Michoacan is located in Pilsen and is a | ||||||
| 16 | vital and great part of the community; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 19 | we congratulate Salvador Torres on the 30th anniversary of | ||||||

| 1 | Caminos de Michoacan and wish him continued success in the | ||||||
| 2 | future; and be it further

| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
