| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the Mount Pulaski Grade | ||||||
| 4 | School seventh grade girls volleyball team, the Honeybears, on | ||||||
| 5 | winning the 2018 Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) | ||||||
| 6 | Class 2A State Championship; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, The Honeybears handily defeated Paris Crestwood | ||||||
| 8 | in two sets by scores of 25-10 and 25-17 at the state | ||||||
| 9 | championship match in Pawnee on March 10, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, In the semifinal game, the Honeybears handed | ||||||
| 11 | Ashland A-C Central their first loss of the season in two sets | ||||||
| 12 | by a score of 25-13 and 25-8; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, This is the second year in a row that the | ||||||
| 14 | Honeybears have won the IESA Class 2A State Championship, and | ||||||
| 15 | they finished the season with a record of 23 wins and two | ||||||
| 16 | losses; and

| 17 | WHEREAS, The Honeybears are led by Head Coach Donna Dulle, | ||||||
| 18 | Assistant Coach Bethany Dulle, and Coach Cori Clark; the | ||||||
| 19 | managers are Claire Bobell, Carter Clark, Josie Jones, Kendra | ||||||
| 20 | Stewart, Cail Stone, Franklin Wade, and Karsyn Wilham; and
