HOUSE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Milton C.
"Milt" Jensen of Beach Park, who passed away on March 31, 2012;
and
WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was a 37-year veteran of United
Airlines; he also served as mayor of Zion in the 1970s and was
in his 4th term as mayor of Beach Park; and
WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was an active member of the Retired
United Pilots' Association, the Zion Benton American Legion
Post #865, and the Zion Benton Loyal Order of the Moose; and
WHEREAS, Milton Jensen enjoyed flying, public service, and
computers; and
WHEREAS, Milton Jensen was married to the love of his life,
Ina (nee Lyons) for almost 61 years; he and his wife had 7
children, Don (Sue), Glenn (Cynthia), Rich (Cindy), Phil
(Sandy), Julie Gonka (Dennis), Liane Leicht (Frankie Kaiser),
and Connie Gill (Paul); they also had 20 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
Milton C. "Milt" Jensen; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Milton Jensen as an expression of
our sympathy.
