| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Raphael | ||||||
| 4 | "Rafi" Cardenas of Chicago, who passed away on June 2, 2022; | ||||||
| 5 | and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Rafi Cardenas was born to Marina Ross and Henry | ||||||
| 7 | Cardenas on December 7, 2019; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Rafi Cardenas is survived by his parents; his | ||||||
| 9 | grandparents, Diana Balzak, Darren Ross, Victorino Cardenas, | ||||||
| 10 | and Ruth Leticia Vazquez; his aunt, Sonia Balzak; and his | ||||||
| 11 | extended family and friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 13 | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 14 | we mourn the passing of
Raphael "Rafi" Cardenas and extend our | ||||||
| 15 | sincere
condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew | ||||||
| 16 | and loved
him; and be it further

| 17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
