3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Donald R. | ||||||
4 | "Don" Smith of Harrisburg, who passed away on March 7, 2012; | ||||||
5 | and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Donald Smith was born on April 10, 1941, in Muddy; | ||||||
7 | he was the son of John William and Edith (Dardeen) Smith; he | ||||||
8 | married Phyllis Kay Millspaugh on May 10, 1962; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Donald Smith was a retired coal miner who worked | ||||||
10 | at Eagle One and at the Keensburg Coal Mine; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Donald Smith was a member of the Sons of the | ||||||
12 | American Legion of the Equality McLain-Glover Post No. 595; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Donald Smith was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
14 | his brother, William E. Smith; his nephew, Terry Dean Wise; and | ||||||
15 | his beloved dog, Maggie; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Donald Smith is survived by his wife, Kay Smith; | ||||||
17 | his daughters, Teresa Collins and Ida (Brad) Evans; his sister, | ||||||
18 | Donna Kay Wise; his grandchildren, Cory Ray Collins and Hanna | ||||||
19 | Kay Evans; his great-grandchild, Nathan Andrew Collins; and his | ||||||
20 | nephews, Johnny (Kera) Wise, Billy Joe Wise, Ronnie Eugene |
