HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are heartened by the successful career of
4Jaqueline Rush and congratulate her on her service; and
5 WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush has been a life-long resident of
6the Ford Heights community; and
7 WHEREAS, Jacqueline Rush graduated from East Chicago
8Heights Elementary School, Bloom Township High School, and
9Northern Illinois University; and
10 WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush assumed many roles following her
11graduation from Northern Illinois University in 1975, most
12notably working for East Chicago Heights Elementary School
13District 169; and
14 WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush served in a number of positions,
15including Learning Resource Center coordinator, Instructional
16Services and Public Relations coordinator, media specialist,
17administrative intern, summer school coordinator, medical
18professional, language arts teacher, administrative intern to
19the acting principal of Cottage Grove Middle School, and
20assistant to the assistant superintendent of school
21instructional programs; and

1 WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush has been an active member of
2numerous local organizations, including the South Suburban
3Ambulatory Services Network, the Board of Governors State
4University, and the Ford Heights Community Service
5Organization; she was a trustee of the Village of Ford Heights;
6therefore, be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
8HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
9we congratulate Jaqueline Rush on her immeasurable
10contribution toward improving the lives of so many children in
11her community; and be it further
12 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of the resolution be
13presented to Jaqueline Rush as an expression of our deepest
14gratitude.
