| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are heartened by the
successful career of | ||||||
| 4 | Jaqueline Rush and congratulate her on her service; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush has been a life-long resident of | ||||||
| 6 | the Ford Heights community; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Jacqueline Rush graduated from East Chicago | ||||||
| 8 | Heights Elementary School, Bloom
Township High School, and | ||||||
| 9 | Northern Illinois University; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush assumed many roles following her | ||||||
| 11 | graduation from Northern Illinois
University in 1975, most | ||||||
| 12 | notably working for East Chicago Heights Elementary School
| ||||||
| 13 | District 169; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush served in a number of positions, | ||||||
| 15 | including Learning Resource Center coordinator, Instructional | ||||||
| 16 | Services and Public Relations coordinator, media specialist, | ||||||
| 17 | administrative intern,
summer school coordinator, medical | ||||||
| 18 | professional, language arts teacher, administrative intern
to | ||||||
| 19 | the acting principal of Cottage Grove Middle School, and | ||||||
| 20 | assistant to the assistant
superintendent of school | ||||||
| 21 | instructional programs; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Jaqueline Rush has been an active member of | ||||||
| 2 | numerous local organizations, including the
South Suburban | ||||||
| 3 | Ambulatory Services Network, the Board of Governors State | ||||||
| 4 | University, and the Ford
Heights Community Service | ||||||
| 5 | Organization; she was a trustee of the Village of Ford Heights; | ||||||
| 6 | therefore, be it

| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 8 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 9 | we congratulate Jaqueline Rush on her immeasurable | ||||||
| 10 | contribution toward improving the lives of so many children in | ||||||
| 11 | her community; and be it further
