| 2 | WHEREAS, A vacancy exists in the office of Chief Clerk of | ||||||
| 3 | the House of Representatives; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 5 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 6 | Timothy D. Mapes is hereby elected Chief Clerk of the House of | ||||||
| 7 | Representatives for the remainder of the term of the | ||||||
| 8 | Ninety-Seventh General Assembly or until a successor is | ||||||
| 9 | elected; and be it further
| ||||||
| 10 | RESOLVED, That Timothy D. Mapes shall receive no | ||||||
| 11 | compensation or reimbursement of expenses for performance of | ||||||
| 12 | duties as the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
