| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Chief Kirk Henderson on |
| 4 | | the occasion of his retirement from the Zion Police |
| 5 | | Department; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Chief Henderson graduated from Illinois State |
| 7 | | University in 1987, the Northwestern University Center for |
| 8 | | Public Safety in 2007, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation |
| 9 | | National Academy in 2014; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Chief Henderson has served the Zion Police |
| 11 | | Department since April 1992; he has held various positions |
| 12 | | within the department, including patrol officer, school |
| 13 | | resource officer, detective, corporal/sergeant, lieutenant, |
| 14 | | and deputy chief; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Chief Henderson has been a dedicated public |
| 16 | | servant to the Zion community for nearly 30 years, and he has |
| 17 | | made significant contributions to the quality and progress of |
| 18 | | the Zion Police Department; therefore, be it
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 20 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
