| 2 | WHEREAS, Farm City Days, hosted by the Franklin County Farm | ||||||
| 3 | Bureau Foundation, YourFranklinCounty.com, and the Franklin | ||||||
| 4 | County Farm Bureau, is a family-friendly festival providing | ||||||
| 5 | residents of Franklin County an opportunity to visit and | ||||||
| 6 | understand farming operations and safety; proceeds benefit the | ||||||
| 7 | Franklin County Farm Bureau "Ag in the Classroom" activities; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, The members of the planning committee are a | ||||||
| 10 | diverse group of individuals from the farming, marketing, | ||||||
| 11 | business, and community service industries; everyone shares a | ||||||
| 12 | common goal: To facilitate ongoing cooperation and | ||||||
| 13 | understanding between between city (non agricultural) | ||||||
| 14 | residents and the farming industry; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, The Farm City Days celebration begins the morning | ||||||
| 16 | of June 10, 2017 in historic Benton with a Farm Machinery | ||||||
| 17 | Parade; therefore, be it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 19 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 20 | declare June 10, 2017 as Farm City Days; and be it further

| 21 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
