1		HOUSE RESOLUTION
2		WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3		Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Robert J.
4		Frooninckx, who passed away on February 11, 2011; and
5		WHEREAS, Robert J. Frooninckx was born January 19, 1941, in
6		Clifton, the son of Louis J. N. and Florence M. Hamende
7		Frooninckx; he was the former mayor of Clifton for 5 1/2 years
8		and retired from ZLB Behring Corporation; and
9		WHEREAS, He originally campaigned for mayor to get
10		something done about sewage treatment; he was instrumental in
11		getting the grant and no-interest loan from the EPA for the
12		job; after he stepped down as Mayor he was still making the
13		rounds, checking on the progress of the new sewage system he
14		had worked so hard to see built; he worked adamantly on the
15		project and many would have liked for him to see it finished;
16		and
17		WHEREAS, He never missed any village board meetings and
18		would attend many other village meetings he was not required to
19		attend in order to invest time and interest in his community;
20		and
21		WHEREAS, He was not only a great public servant, but a

1		small business owner, realtor, and avid Cubs fan as well; he
2		was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed collecting
3		antiques, coins, and stocks; and
4		WHEREAS, Robert Frooninckx is survived by his daughter,
5		Brenda Frooninckx and her companion, Melissa Rhodes; his sons
6		and daughter-in-law, Craig and Kellie Frooninckx and Michael
7		Frooninckx; his granddaughter, Tara Frooninckx; and his
8		sister, Rita Rabideau; therefore, be it
9		RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
10		NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
11		we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
12		Robert Frooninckx; and be it further
13		RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14		presented to the family of Robert Frooninckx as a symbol of our
15		sincere sympathy.
