| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate David Johnsen on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of his retirement as Battalion Chief with the | ||||||
| 5 | Woodridge Fire District in Lisle; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen joined the Woodridge Fire District | ||||||
| 7 | on August 12, 1991; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen was promoted to Lieutenant on August | ||||||
| 9 | 24, 2006, to Captain on October 17, 2012, and to Battalion | ||||||
| 10 | Chief on July 5, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen has received numerous awards and | ||||||
| 12 | commendations, including an Award of Merit for outstanding, | ||||||
| 13 | distinguished, and meritorious performance in the line of duty; | ||||||
| 14 | and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen has been awarded numerous company | ||||||
| 16 | citations for outstanding and meritorious actions towards his | ||||||
| 17 | fellow man; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen and his wife, Tammy, have one son, | ||||||
| 19 | Nicholas; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, David Johnsen's retirement will be official in | ||||||
| 2 | February of 2017 as he departs for a new challenge as Fire | ||||||
| 3 | Chief for the Village of Sussex, Wisconsin; therefore, be it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 5 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 6 | congratulate David Johnsen on his retirement as Battalion Chief | ||||||
| 7 | of the Woodridge Fire District in Lisle; and be it further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to David Johnsen as an expression of our esteem and | ||||||
