1 AN ACT concerning safety.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Firearm Concealed Carry Act is amended by
5changing Section 60 as follows:
6 (430 ILCS 66/60)
7 Sec. 60. Fees.
8 (a) All fees collected under this Act shall be deposited as
9provided in this Section. Application, renewal, and
10replacement fees shall be non-refundable.
11 (b) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (e), an An
12applicant for a new license or a renewal shall submit $150 with
13the application, of which $120 shall be apportioned to the
14State Police Firearm Services Fund, $20 shall be apportioned to
15the Mental Health Reporting Fund, and $10 shall be apportioned
16to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.
17 (c) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (e), a A
18non-resident applicant for a new license or renewal shall
19submit $300 with the application, of which $250 shall be
20apportioned to the State Police Firearm Services Fund, $40
21shall be apportioned to the Mental Health Reporting Fund, and
22$10 shall be apportioned to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.
23 (d) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (e), a A

1licensee requesting a new license in accordance with Section 55
2shall submit $75, of which $60 shall be apportioned to the
3State Police Firearm Services Fund, $5 shall be apportioned to
4the Mental Health Reporting Fund, and $10 shall be apportioned
5to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.
6 (e)(1) An applicant for a new license or a renewal who is a
7veteran shall submit $75 with the application, of which $60
8shall be apportioned to the State Police Firearm Services Fund,
9$10 shall be apportioned to the Mental Health Reporting Fund,
10and $5 shall be apportioned to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.
11 (2) A non-resident applicant for a new license or renewal
12who is a veteran shall submit $150 with the application, of
13which $125 shall be apportioned to the State Police Firearm
14Services Fund, $20 shall be apportioned to the Mental Health
15Reporting Fund, and $5 shall be apportioned to the State Crime
16Laboratory Fund.
17 (3) A licensee who is a veteran requesting a new license in
18accordance with Section 55 shall submit $37.50, of which $30
19shall be apportioned to the State Police Firearm Services Fund,
20$2.50 shall be apportioned to the Mental Health Reporting Fund,
21and $5 shall be apportioned to the State Crime Laboratory Fund.
22 (4) As used in this subsection (e), "veteran" has the
23meaning ascribed to it in subsection (e) of Section 45-57 of
24the Illinois Procurement Code.
