30 ILCS 500/45-55

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
5changing Section 45-55 as follows:

7 Sec. 45-55. Corn-based and hemp-based plastics. In
8awarding contracts requiring the procurement of plastic
9products, preference may be given to an otherwise qualified
10bidder or offeror who will fulfill the contract through the use
