Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning prisoner records maintained by the Department of Corrections.

1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by
5changing Section 3-5-2 as follows:
6 (730 ILCS 5/3-5-2) (from Ch. 38, par. 1003-5-2)
7 Sec. 3-5-2. Institutional Record. The The Department shall
8maintain records of the examination, assignment, transfer,
9discipline of committed persons and what grievances, if any,
10are made in each of its institutions, facilities and programs.
11The record shall contain the name of the persons involved, the
12time, date, place and purpose of the procedure, the decision
13and basis therefor, and any review of the decision made.
