Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning uniformity of taxes.

AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
changing Section 8-3-5 as follows:
(65 ILCS 5/8-3-5) (from Ch. 24, par. 8-3-5)
Sec. 8-3-5. All taxes levied by a municipality, except
special assessments for local improvements, shall be uniform
upon all taxable property and and persons within the limits of
the municipality, and no property shall be exempt therefrom
other than such property as may be exempt from taxation under
the constitution and general laws of the State.
