| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Energy Transition Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 5-1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 730/5-1) |
| 7 | | (Section scheduled to be repealed on September 15, 2045)

| 8 | | Sec. 5-1. Short title. This Article may be cited as the the |
| 9 | | Energy Transition Act. As used in this Article, "this Act" |
| 10 | | refers to this Article.
