2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Library Records Confidentiality Act is
5amended by adding Section 5 as follows:
6 (75 ILCS 70/5 new)
7 Sec. 5. Electronic books. The registration and circulation
8records of a library that are confidential includes, but is not
9limited to, any records relating to the checking out or viewing
10of electronic books or eBooks.
