AN ACT concerning State government.
| ||||
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||
represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||
Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic | ||||
Opportunity Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is | ||||
amended by adding Section 605-1010 as follows:

(20 ILCS 605/605-1010 new) | ||||
Sec. 605-1010. Agricultural Tourism. To bolster rural | ||||
economies in Illinois, subject to appropriation, the | ||||
Department shall develop and implement a statewide strategic | ||||
plan to increase agricultural tourism. The strategic plan shall | ||||
explore the promotion of agricultural tourism through access to | ||||
hotel and motel taxes and the use of websites, brochures, and | ||||
broadcast advertising.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||
becoming law.
