Bill Title: Amends the Department of Natural Resources Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in Illinois may be sold on the property of the Illinois State Museum. Defines "materials manufactured in Illinois". Amends the State Parks Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in Illinois may be sold in gift shops or concession areas within State parks or parkways. Defines "materials manufactured in Illinois". Amends the Historic Preservation Agency Act. Provides that only materials manufactured in Illinois may be sold on the property of State Historic Sites, State Memorials, and the other properties over which the Historic Preservation Agency has jurisdiction. AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources Act is
amended by adding Section 21 and 4d as follows:
(20 ILCS 801/21 new)
Sec. 21. Prohibitions. Only materials manufactured in
Illinois may be sold on the property of the Illinois State
Museum. As used in this Section, "materials manufactured in
Illinois" means assembled articles, materials, or supplies for
which design, final assembly, processing, packaging, testing,
or other process that adds value, quality, or reliability
occurred in Illinois.
Section 10. The State Parks Act is amended by adding
Section 4d as follows:
(20 ILCS 835/4d new)
Sec. 4d. Prohibited sales. Only materials manufactured in
Illinois may be sold in gift shops or concession areas within
State parks or parkways. As used in this Section, "materials
manufactured in Illinois" means assembled articles, materials,
or supplies for which design, final assembly, processing,

Section 15. The Historic Preservation Agency Act is amended
by adding Section 36 as follows:
(20 ILCS 3405/36 new)
Sec. 36. Prohibitions. Only materials manufactured in
Illinois may be sold on the property of State Historic Sites,
State Memorials, and the other properties over which the
Historic Preservation Agency has jurisdiction under Section 6
of this Act. As used in this Section, "materials manufactured
in Illinois" means assembled articles, materials, or supplies
for which design, final assembly, processing, packaging,
testing, or other process that adds value, quality, or
reliability occurred in Illinois.
