| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Museum District Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 3 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 3. Authorization to create district. Whenever an area |

contiguous territory lying wholly within one county |
| 9 | | contains one or more
historical sites and
and one or more |
| 10 | | municipalities, the territory may be
incorporated as a museum |
